Torchbearer - Game Prototype
We had 10 weeks in class to make this game. The core mechanic is the health/ammo charge system. Your charges are both your health and ammo, and you have to balance staying alive and killing enemies with the same resource. However, you can also absorb anything that is on fire to turn into a charge, this includes most enemy projectiles, but be careful, if you time your parry incorrectly you might get hurt by it.
